Grandma Tales

Grandma Tales

Welcome to the Grandma Tales project of the Pearls of India Foundation! We are on a mission to preserve and share the timeless wisdom of Indian grandmothers through their beloved stories.

India has a rich heritage of knowledge and wisdom, much of which was passed down through the Vedas, Itihasa, and Puranas. But for many people in rural areas, access to this knowledge was limited. That's where grandmothers stepped in - they shared their wisdom through local language stories, passed down from generation to generation.

However, with the changing times and the decline of joint families, these treasured tales are at risk of being lost forever. That's why the Pearls of India Foundation has launched the Grandma Tales project - to collect and share these stories in the form of videos in each major language before they disappear completely.

Our goal is to collect 100 videos in each of the 10 major languages identified, focusing on value- based stories that inspire children to become good citizens of society. By preserving and sharing these stories, we hope to keep our rich cultural heritage alive for future generations to learn from and enjoy.

But we can't do it alone. We need your help to make this project a success. Your donation will go towards the collection, recording, and distribution of these priceless stories. Join us in this effort to preserve the pearls of India's grandmother tales and make a lasting impact on the lives

of children everywhere. Thank you for your support!
